Can I split (subdivide) my property?

Different options are available for subdividing property, depending on your road access. Please contact a staff member in the Planning Services division of Development Services at (205) 620-6650, option 2 for additional information. If your proposed subdivision will create lots that are less than 20 acres in size, the split (subdivision) must adhere to the Shelby County Subdivision Regulations.
