NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
Sealed bids will be received for the Shelby County Water Services Meter Changeout Project, by the Shelby County Commission Office of the Chief Financial Officer at the Shelby County Administration Building located at 200 West College St. Room 125, Columbiana, AL 35051 until 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2025, and at that time publicly opened on the items listed below.
Description of items of proposed work is as follows:
Changeout of approximately 11,000 water meters with replacement of various inoperable pressure regulators, check valves, and damaged meter
boxes.
There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project. Requests for information will be accepted from bidders until Friday, September 5, 2025 at 2:00 PM. Bidders with questions may contact the Project Manager, Shane Lovett, PE at (205) 670-6540 or slovett@shelbyal.com.
