Please consider visiting American Village to place a flag at the National Veterans Shrine in honor or remembrance of a veteran. The American Village in Montevallo, Alabama holds an annual Veterans Day ceremony on November 11th with a Veterans Day Salute that runs from 10 AM–3 PM. The event includes family-friendly activities, a service at the Colonial Chapel at 11 AM, and a wreath-laying ceremony at the National Veterans Shrine. The ceremony is a service of remembrance and thanksgiving for veterans. This is a free event that is open to all to honor all veterans.
