Location for the bid opening remains the office of the Shelby County Chief Financial Officer, located at 200 West College Street, Room 125, Columbiana, Alabama, 35051

Clarifications:

 

  • Q1.  Will you please confirm that everyone is bidding on this project following the Motorola R56 manual? All I could find was the 2005 manual.  The price of the shelter and grounding system goes up tremendously following this manual.

A2.  Per the Project Manual, Section 1010 – Project Summary – “All grounding must be to R56 Specifications”.  See attached 2017 Motorola R56 Manual.

 

  • Q2.  Can you provide any specifications for the Motorola R56 grounding requirements for the Thompson site shelter?  Possibly a drawing from an existing site?

A2.  See attached drawings.

 

  • Q3.   Can you clarify that the Commercial Contractor – Section 84 license is a requirement before the bid or can it be obtained after award?

A3.  Section 84/County Business License from the State of Alabama can be obtained after the bid has been awarded.
